Anodic oxidation is executed in an electrolytic soln. with the films in the peripheral driving circuit regions as anode. The films are subjected to patterning to form the wirings commonly connected to gate wirings 101 in the pixel regions. The anodic oxidation is executed in the electrolytic soln. with the films in the pixel regions as anode. The anodic oxidation with the gate wirings 101 as anode in the pixel regions is executed by utilizing the wirings commonly connected to the gate wiring 101. A liquid crystal material is packed between first and second translucent substrates. The wirings commonly connected to the gate wirings 101 and the gate wirings 101 are cut.
