PURPOSE: To directly observe an image-forming state in each element for image- forming and the characteristic thereof in a state corresponding to the case that the element for image-forming is actually used in an image forming device by rotatably providing a light transmissive supporting body for inspection, which is formed to be cylindrical, and providing the element for image-forming on the outer periphery side of the supporting body and an observing device on the inner periphery side thereof. CONSTITUTION: The image-forming states in the respective elements for image- forming such as a developing device 22, a cleaning device 24, an electrifying device 21 and a transfer device 23 provided on the outer periphery side of the light transmissive supporting body for inspection 10, which is formed to be cylindrical, are observed by the observing device 30 provided on the inner periphery side of the supporting body 10 so as to inspect the various characteristics of the respective elements. Thus, a toner image forming state, a transferring state and a cleaning state are directly observed through the observing device 30, and observed in the state corresponding to the case that the image is formed by actually using the element in the image forming device such as a copying machine or a printer, and the exact inspection is performed. |
