PURPOSE: To reduce carrying of dust into rooms by providing the outlet/inlet port of the housing with a dust-removing chamber, removing dust by air stream. CONSTITUTION: A dust removing chamber 4, removing dust by air stream, is installed below a straight stairway 2 at the gable side of a first floor, which is the outlet and inlet port of a collective housing 1 or the branch point of a passage to two rooms of the first floor and a passage to two rooms at a second floor. The outlet and inlet port, to which a single swinging door 42 is attached through hinges, is provided on a side wall 41 of the dust removing chamber 4, parallel to the gable 11 of the collective housing 1. When the inhabitant or visitor of the collective housing 1 enter the dust removing chamber 14 through the single swinging door 42 and an electric circuit for a fan is closed, air is ejected out of an air injecting port 44 whereby dust, adhered to the hair, clothing and the like of the inhabitant or the like, is blown off by the ejected air and is sucked into a suction port 45 together with air to remove it. |
