PURPOSE: To attain multifunction without enalarging the size of device and improve operability of channel setting control and reproduction speed control by eliminating a plurality of operation switches and key switches required for channel setting at timer setting. CONSTITUTION: Rotation condition of rotary dial 20 is detected with a microcomputer 7 and based thereon a receiving channel of a tuner circuit is changed to perform channel setting. In a temporary stop condition of reproduction control for changing the speed of reproduction is carried out according to the rotation speed of the channel 20 and the dial 20 is commonly used for channel setting control and reproduction speed control.
