TAPE-LIKE OPTICAL INFORMATION RECORDING MEDIUM

摘要

PURPOSE: To improve recording performance and preservable stability by providing an information recording medium having at least one layer of recording layers and incorporating a laser beam responsive compd. and a high-polymer compd. as a binder into these recording layers. CONSTITUTION: A coating liquid of a liquid compsn. 1 is applied on a polyethylene terephthalate base 4 by a wire coater 1 to form a first layer. The coating liquid is fed by a liquid feed pump from a coating liquid stock tank 3 and is supplied through a filter 14 to the wire coater 1. The wire coater 1 rotates in the same direction as the transporting direction of a web to transfer the coating liquid to the web. The coating is dried with hot air of 40 deg.C first, then 80 deg.C after the coating and the web is taken up. A coating liquid of a liquid compsn. 2 is applied at the speed of 20m per minute by using the similar wire bar coater on the first layer formed by the coating in such a manner, by which the second layer is formed.
