PURPOSE: To prevent the partial contact of pinion gears so as to improve durability. CONSTITUTION: A differential gear is provided with a differential case 3 rotatory-driven by the driving force of an engine, a pair of side gears 15, 17 rotatably supported in the differential case 3, at least a pair of pinion gears 41, 43 disposed on the radial outside of the side gears 15, 17 and having first gear parts 45, 51 individually meshed with the side gears 15, 17 and second gear parts 47, 53 meshed with each other, and storage holes 37, 39 formed at the differential case 3 so as to enclose the respective pinion gears 41, 43 slidably and rotatably. The respective gear parts 45, 47 of the pinion gear 41 are formed into tapered shape with the addendum made gradually smaller toward the other gear parts. |
