PURPOSE: To provide a magnetic foil which is used as the core material for a transformer, an inductor, a motor and an actuator, which is composed of secondary recrystallized grains and which has a high magnetic flux density and its manufacturing method. CONSTITUTION: A magnetic foil is an Fe-Al alloy foil which contains Al not less than 1wt.% and not larger than 10wt.%, whose thickness is not less than 10μm and not larger than 100μm, which is composed of secondary recrystallized grains and whose plate surface azimuth is (100). The secondary recrystallization is utilized to manufacture the magnetic foil. Therefore, an Fe-Al alloy foil which is composed of secondary recrystallized grains and has a (100) face as a plate face azimuth cant be obtained and can be used as core material which has a high magnetic flux density at an operation point and has a low loss.
