<p>PURPOSE: To provide a distance-between-vehicles controller which is capable of smoothly controlling the distance between vehicles without making a driver feel danger. CONSTITUTION: In the distance-between-vehicles controller 11 in which an ECU 1 is connected with a distance-between-vehicles measuring means 2, a speed detection means 3, a control switch 5, a brake control means 6 and a slot control means 7, etc., a speed adjusting means 9 releasing the deceleration control by the actuation of the brake control means 6 and running a vehicle at the speed at the time of the release when the approaching of a forward vehicle is detected and the forward vehicle is not detected during the deceleration by the actuation of the brake control means 6.</p> |
