PURPOSE: To provide the color adjusting device which can adjust the colors of a color image without generating a pseudo outline while minimizing unnecessary influence on an unintended color. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a specific color recording part 103 and an adjustment color recording part 104 which are stored with a specific color as an adjustment reference specifying a guide to how colors should be adjusted and the adjustment color corresponding to it, and a color space conversion part 107 which adjusts an optional adjusted color through coordinate conversion in a color space according to the specific color and adjustment color. Consequently, when the adjusted color is the same as the specific color, the adjusted color is adjusted to the adjustment color corresponding to it and when not, the color is adjusted according to the adjustment reference based upon the specific color and adjustment color.
