PURPOSE: To correlatively improve the accuracy of the present location and the accuracy of a running control and to perform the control of an automatic running with high accuracy when a navigation control part and an automatic ruing control part are combined and an automatic running control is performed, sensing the actual road status in the advancing direction of the present vehicle according to the instruction of the running guide in accordance with the target route set on a road map. CONSTITUTION: In the automatic running guidance device in which a navigation control part A and an automatic running control part B are combined, a means deciding the location on the road that the present vehicle runs from the road status in the advancing direction of the present vehicle for which a sensing is performed and performing the correction of present location so that the present location of the present vehicle may be located at the portion on the corresponded road map is taken and a means correcting the road status for which the sensing is performed based on the road data read from a map information storage medium 4 according to the present location of the present vehicle.
