摘要 PURPOSE: To obtain the optimum constitution of a detector in order to detect a focus state up to an object in plural positions(areas) by arranging plural image sensors for receiving luminous fluxes from plural areas on the same chip. CONSTITUTION: Light transmitted through a photographic lens 1 is partly reflected by a main mirror 2, then, goes toward a finder part 5, the remaining light is transmitted through the translucent part of the main mirror 2, then, reflected by the submirror 3 so as to go toward an automatic focus detecting module 4. Only the light in plural focus detecting sensitivity areas, for example, in four zones are transmitted through a visual field mask 12. After the light is deflected by a mirror 14 at an angle of 90 deg. after transmitted through a condenser lens 13, then, the pupil division of the light is executed by an image re-forming lens 15, then, two images of respective standard parts PAL1 to PAL4 and reference parts PAR1 to PAR4 are formed on a photoelectric conversion element. Since plural image sensors are arranged on the same chip, the optical system is miniaturized.
