PURPOSE: To provide a good navigation by eliminating the need for a driver to observe a display device. CONSTITUTION: Detected data from sensors 1 and 2 which detect the traveling direction and moving distance of a vehicle is fed to a CPU 3 in which calculation and control are performed, and the present position of the vehicle is calculated. Also a display mode set-inputting means 4 and a storing means 5 such as a CD-ROM device in which a feasible data for vehicle traveling, for example, road map data is stored are provided, and data from these set-inputting means 4 and storing means 5 is fed to the CPU 3. Then the display signals formed in the CPU 3 are fed to a display device 7 through a display control device 6. In addition, a storing means 8 in which attribute information such as place name information is stored as voice data in relation to the map data is provided, the voice data from the storing means 8 is called out by the CPU 3, and fed to the voice means 10 of an amplifier and speaker through a voice regenerative device 9. |
