PURPOSE: To save the fuel consumption which is required for a high temperature heating of a rotary incineration furnace, being required for the neat. melting process, and at the same time, prevent dioxine from being generated by a method wherein the charging and incineration of trash are repeated a plurality of times by one rotary type incineration furnace, and the rotary incineration furnace is heated by utilizing the incineration heat value of the trash. CONSTITUTION: Trash is charged by a trash charging means 3 from an opening (1a) on one side of a rotary type incineration furnace 1, and the trash is incinerated at 800 deg.C-1200 deg.C by an oxygen burner 2 using a fuel and oxygen of which the concentration is 50% or higher, from the opening (1a), and after the volume of the trash is reduced, trash is charged again. After repeating the charging and incineration of trash a plurality of times, an incineration ash remaining in the rotary type incineration furnace 1 is melted at a high temperature of 1600 deg.C or higher by an oxygen burner 2 and vitrified, and is released from an opening (1b). At the same time, an exhaust gas which is generated at this time is introduced to a dust collector 7 from the opening (1b), and dust is removed. By this method, the volume reduction of an article to be disposed is achieved at a low fuel consumption, and at the same time, dioxine is prevented from being generated. |
