PURPOSE: To provide an air conditioner which makes its heat exchanger to be set in place and removed in a simple manner. CONSTITUTION: A heat exchanger 5 having a frame 5b with through holes is erected from a bottom plate 2 farthest back inside a casing. A partition plate 10 has in its rear end screw holes corresponding to the through holes in the frame 5b of the heat exchanger 5 and is designed to be fixed by means of screws from the side of the heat exchanger 5. The heat exchanger 5 is positioned in a manner as to have its end behind a compressor 8. As a result, the heat exchanger 5 can be set in place, removed, and cleaned in a simple manner without detaching the compressor 8. Moreover this constitution enables the heat exchanger 5 to have its place to the full extent of the inside of the casing and accordingly have an increased heat-exchange capacity. |
