System for locking a door 3, such as a door of a safe, a house or the like, with respect to the frame 1, using pins 7 which run substantially at right angles to the side edges of the door 3 and can slide in the longitudinal direction. The pins 7, the actuating means 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12 for these pins and the lock 9 are arranged in those parts of the frame 1 which surround the door opening 2. The pins 7 can be accommodated in holes formed in the side edges of the door 3 or of a window or the like. There is a lock 9 which can directly or indirectly slide the pins 7 and block the pins in the locked position of the door 3. <IMAGE>
