The contact device provides an electrical connection between a plug-in module and an electrical circuit, using pairs of contact pins (3) contained in a plug housing (2). The ends of the contact pin pairs lying on the outside of the housing lie parallel to one another at a defined relative spacing. Pref. the contact pin pairs are bent towards one another at a point (7) adjacent their free ends, to provide a relative spacing which is less than the thickness of a received conductor path foil.
