Endless flexible switch rail for electrical device

The switch rail uses a fully, or partially, flexible insulator which can be folded up and closed by a clip fastening, with the interior of the insulator profiled to hold the cooperating electrical contacts at a defined relative spacing. One of the contacts is provided as a flexible endless contact, brought into engagement with the counter-contact when an external force is applied to the outside of the insulator.
