PURPOSE: To provide a process cartridge capable of replenishing toner while fitting a developer replenishment container thereto, and controlling the replenishment frequency. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a projecting member 11 in the first opening part 3b, a locking part 12 on a fitting part 3g, and a sealing member 16 above them. The developer replenishment container 8 is provided whose sectional plane is approximately a triangle, and an opening part 8b on a lower surface is hermetically closed by the sealing member 13, and moreover provided with a mesh type member 14 and a pawl member 15. The toner 10 is replenished by inserting the developer replenishment container 8 into the fitting part 3g until the pawl member 15 is engaged with the locking part 12, and simultaneously the sealing 13 is broken through by the projecting member 11. The toner scattering is prevented by the sealing member 16. At the time of replenishing the toner moreover, the sealing 13A of the developer replenishment container 8A is broken through by the tip part of the previously loaded developer replenishment container 8, and the toner is replenished again. |
