PURPOSE: To obtain a pretreatment system in which a high sensitivity gas detector can be utilized in the analysis of liquid sample by providing means for subjecting a moving medium to high frequency heating at Curie point. CONSTITUTION: A moving medium 11 is a wire made of a ferromagnetic material, e.g. iron or an alloy of iron, nickel and cobalt, for example, and it is arranged movably between a feed spool 13 and a winding spool 14. A first high frequency heating means 15 subjects a specified part of the moving medium 11 to high frequency heating at Curie point in order to remove impurities and the part, from which the impurities are removed, is applied with a liquid sample L by a liquid sample applying means 18. A high frequency preheating means 31 preheats the part applied with sample which is further heated at high temperature by a second high frequency heating means 33. Gas components thus produced are introduced through introduction means 35 to a high sensitivity gas detector 41, e.g. a hydrogen flame ionization detector(FID) or an electron capturing detector(ECD). |
