A device for grasping only a single cloth piece among stacked cloth pieces, which comprises a small grasping member slidably provided in a large grasping member such that a single cloth piece among stacked cloth pieces may be lightly grasped by the small grasping member to be suspended therefrom, and then the cloth piece thus grasped may be strongly grasped by the large grasping member to be suspended therefrom.
