The invention concerns a display device in the form of a casing (12) with a display window (18) and winding means inside the casing (12) for winding up and unwinding flexible posters (26) such that they can be presented in succession behind the display window (18). The posters (26) are wound up on individual rollers (24), which are preferably removable, and the winding means can unwind the posters (26) from their rollers (24) individually according to mutually spaced parallel unwinding planes. The rollers (24) are mounted horizontally in the casing (12) and each poster (26) is secured by a first edge to its respective roller (24), the opposite edge of the poster (26) being free and provided with a load (28) such that it can unwind by gravity.
