The invention provides a clamp (20) which has an additional elastic function and therefore contributes to measuring the clamping force but without mechanical interference, in cooperation with a head having a simplified structure. This arrangement makes possible the integration of a precision sensor (16), particularly for measuring an electrical quantity, providing for a direct measurement, and provides for the clamping of any component requiring a defined clamping force. Said clamp is characterized by a very high and reproducible clamping precision (precision of about +/- 1 %), and clamping capabilities in an extended range of forces with a single clamp (or a single "U" clamp device) without new calibration. |
