The invention relates to an ozone generator with a capacitor arrangement of two electrodes (20, 22), i.e. an outer, substantially tubular external electrode (22) and an internal electrode (20) fitted inside it, between which there is a tubular dielectric (24) on the one hand and a space (26) on the other, through which the oxygen-containing gas to be ozonised flows. The internal electrode (20) has a cross-section which: a) has a regular, continuously circulating outer contour; b) has a rotation symmetry and c) has convex and continuously curved ends (30) which are at the greatest distance from a centre (36) of the internal electrode (20) and beside which there are depressions (32). |
