The transmission enables transforming alternating movement into rotary movement on a bicycle transmission chain of standard pitch. It is obtained by modifying three chain links to enable lateral action on the side of the chain. This enables the possibility of correcting the tension between two pinions (54,55) assisted by a third pinion (57). This tension correction enables a crank (30) taking the foot of a connecting rod, to follow an initial trajectory (TP) and to be sometimes in a rising part, sometimes in a descending part following crossing from PMH or PMB.
