The mounting for the operating lever has a hinged bracket (34) that can be engaged with the lever to lock it in a specific location during adjustment of the linkage connecting the lever to the mechanism it controls. The lever has a stud (32) projecting from one side. The stud engages a hole in the outer end of the hinged bracket. After the stud has passed through the hole in the end of the bracket a plate (48), attached to the outer end of the hinged bracket, is rotated about a pivot so it engages a transverse slot near the end of the stud, locking plate and lever together. The rotating plate has a hole that aligns with a hole in the end of the bracket in the locked position, allowing a locking pin to stop rotation of the bracket. |
