A glass fabric cloth comprises: (a) a glass fabric of wt. above 100 g/sq.m. and thickness above 0.10 mm., coated with (b) at least 10 g/sq.m. or acrylic, urethane or melamine resin. Pref. the fabric is obtd. by weaving glass filaments of dia. less than 7 (esp. less than 4) microns. The resin is a mixt. of an acrylic resin and a urethane resin, in ratio of 3:7-7:3. The resin(s) may contain up to 60 (30-40) wt.% of an inorganic substance, esp. an oxide or hydroxide, partic. CaCO3, glass powder or beads, glass leaflets, natural or artificial mica, SiO2, TiO2, Al2O3 and/or Al(OH)3. |
