The lighter comprises a function head (1) which contains the ignition unit and other lighter parts. The function head is a separate component from the gas container and gas nozzle. The gas container and head connect together by a rail (2) or a similar part. A detent button or other security device (4), located on the function head or on the gas container, prevents mutual displacement. The function head is removable from the gas container.
