<p>Four write error check areas are provided in a memory (30) of a transmitter (12) of a transmitter/receiver (10) for a vehicle. Low is first written into the areas at the start of a write processing, and Hi is written at the end of the write processing. Therefore, whether the write operation is normally finished can be confirmed by reading this area in the data write processing. Four rolling code areas are provided in the memory (30), and they rotate as the rolling code is incremented.
