Method of producing treatment atmosphere for cryotherapy use in whole body treatment

The method involves three closed cooling circuits which use different gases as cooling mediums to produce three streams of cold air in the temperature range 0 to -30 deg C, -60 to -80 deg C and to -100 deg C. Each of the cold air streams is fed as a breathable atmosphere to separate treatment chambers. The three chambers are connected to each other as a series of walk through chambers. For economic operation of the installation, the cooling circuits are connected via a heat exchanger to a three part cascade system where a part of the flow of the cooling medium of the first or the second circuit is used for the cooling and condensation of the cooling medium of the following circuit. The heat of compression of the first circuit of the cascade is used to produce hot water.
