摘要 |

The invention is a method of treating intractable gold- and silver-containing materials, ores and concentrates without the use of cyanide and based on hydrometallurgical processing of the crushed material using mineral acids, thereby producing gold and silver solutions from which the gold and silver can be precipitated out using known procedures. The starting material is subjected to hydrometallurgical treatment, manganese oxides being introduced into or kept in said starting material at an overall concentration of 3-6 % calculated for manganese dioxide (pyrolusite). The hydrometallurgical treatment is effected using an aqueous solution of a mineral acid in the presence of a complexing agent in a concentration of 70-150 g/dm3.
|
