A packaging (1, 6) for storing a disc, preferably a compact disc (CD) (9), comprises at least one disc holder (1) with a fastener (3) designed to engage with the hole in the middle of the disc. During storage the holder is enclosed by a cover (6).The cover and holder are separate parts, with the former comprising a box open along one side edge, whilst the latter comprises a stem (2) provided with the fastener and a lid (4) for sealing the open side of the box when the holder is placed inside the cover. Preferably the cover is made from cardboard which has been bent and glued together. The holder, including its fastener and lid, comprise a single injection-moulded article. |
