A process and device for packing containers (1) into boxes is disclosed. The containers (20) arranged in matrix-shaped groups on a first continuous conveyor (4) are gripped by corresponding packing means (18) and set into boxes (6) on a second continuous conveyor (8). The invention is characterised in that the packing means (18) are arranged on a carrousel (10) that rotates around a horizontal axis of rotation (11) that extends transversely to the common direction of displacement (5) of the first and second conveyors (4, 8). Besides carrying out a movement of rotation (9) around the axis of rotation (11), the packing means (18) carry out an additional linear movement parallel to the axis of rotation (11) between both conveyors (4, 8). |
