A noise barrier comprises elongate elements arranged on top of each other between H-section posts (6). The elements each comprise a metal or plastics tube formed from inter-connected sections (3) surrounding a glued-together mass (4) of recycled plastics granules with air spaces between them. The granules may be P.V.C, and there may be impurities or contaminants from the waste recycling process. The tubes are faced with plastics planks (1,2), of polystyrene or other waste plastics, adapted to interlock vertically. |
