PURPOSE:To shorten the cycle time of a device to mount an electronic part on a printed board by detecting through an image the holding posture of the electronic part by means of a part holding head and correcting a posture error. CONSTITUTION:A part holding head is held, at an interval of an intermittent angle of revolution, revolvable around the vertical axis, to a head holding body intermittently revolving around the vertical axis. A posture detecting device 140 and a head revolving device 142 are, respectively, set up at a posture detecting position C, which is a stop position between a part receiving position A and a part mounting position G, and a posture change position E. The head revolving device is revolved as the part holding head is revolved to an angle determined according to posture detecting information of an electronic part to correct a holding posture error. The cycle time of the mounting device is shortened by simultaneously performing, at each stop position, the holding and mounting of the electronic part by the part holding head, posture detection at the electronic part by the posture detection device, and the correction of the posture error by the head revolving device. |
