INK JET PRINTING APPARATUS

PURPOSE: To reduce a count of memories necessary for discharging of a processing liquid as much as possible and print well in an ink jet printing apparatus which performs printing by discharging an ink and the processing liquid making the ink insoluble or coagulate. CONSTITUTION: As memories for discharge data of an amount scanned by a head, only memories 101-104 for corresponding colors of ink are provided in the apparatus. A discharge data for a processing liquid is formed by a data- forming part 113 based on data obtained by data-switching parts 121-124. The formed discharge data is stored in a buffer 114 by a count of discharge ports of the head and supplied to the head 31.
