CONSTITUTION: In a two-component type thermal recording material utilizing the thermal color forming reaction of a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a coupler being principal components of the thermal recording layer formed on a support, a chelating agent having chelating ligand represented by EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) represented by formula and an expoxy compd. are added to the thermal recording layer. As the chelating agent, at least one of ethyenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid, ethylenediamine-N,N,N',N'- tetraacetic acid, disodium ethylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid, 4-sodium ethylenediamine-N,N,N',N'-tetraacetic acid is used. |
