PURPOSE: To stabilize the discharge characteristics of ink without complicating a recorder structure. CONSTITUTION: Ink particles 14 injected from a jet nozzle 1 are charged by a charging electrode 3, and the charged particles 14 are deflected by a deflecting electrode 4 to record a medium to be recorded. A closing unit 101, a heater 16 and an ink density regulating chamber 300 are provided. The unit 101 releases the closing of an orifice 2 only when the particles 14 are injected from the nozzle 1, and the orifice 2 is closed except the case. The heater 16 holds the temperature of the ink supplied to the nozzle 1 to a predetermined temperature higher than the atmospheric temperature. The chamber 300 regulates the density of the ink supplied to the nozzle 1 substantially constantly. |
