<p>PURPOSE: To prevent a paper feed failure or biasing caused by separation failure of paper by moving a roller for regulating deflections formed on both ends of the paper by a separating claw to an optional axial position right-angle to the advancing direction of the paper. CONSTITUTION: A deflection detecting sensor (f) for detecting the height of deflection (d) of paper (k), which is also used for the size detecting of the paper (k) together with the detecting performance for the presence of the paper (k) in a cassette (h), recognizes the paper size by setting the paper (k) and is movable to a roller position. The movement of rollers (c) to a fixed position according to each paper size is completed, a paper feed carrying roller (b) is rotated to carry the paper (k), and the deflection (d) of the paper is caused by a separating claw (a). The height of the deflection (d) is detected by the deflection sensor (f), and its output is transmitted to a roller movable mechanism (e) as analog value. The roller movable mechanism (e) is moved by respective driving motor M, M to regulate the moving position according to the deflection.</p> |
