<p>H3PO4 and CaCO3 are produced from Ca(H2PO4)2, CaHPO4 or soln. of CaHPO4 in H3PO4 by reaction with CO2, using electrodialysis through ion exchange membrane. Process eliminates use of strong mineral acid and hence formation of by-products of little value and of impure H3PO4 requiring costly after-treatment.</p> |
