PURPOSE: To surely feed a recording sheet to surely obtain a high-resolution image by a method wherein the ink jet recording sheet with an ink-accepting layer on the surface thereof is stored in a bag made of a high-density polyethylene. CONSTITUTION: In an ink jet recording sheet storage body 10, a plurality of ink jet recording sheets S are stored in a bag 3 made of a high-density polyethylene. The recording sheet S is provided with a porous ink-accepting layer 2 on a surface of a sheet substrate 1. The sheet substrate 1 is composed of paper, a transparent or white syrthetic resin film (polyethylene terephthalate film), or the like. Since little amount of a slip agent is incorporated in the bag 3 made of a high-density polyethylene, the slip agent hardly adheres to the recording sheet S. Therefore, if the recording sheet S is taken out of the storage bag 3 and set to a recorder intact, the recording sheet S is positively fed, a transport accuracy is not lowered, and a high-resolution image can be surely obtained. |
