PURPOSE: To obtain printed matter good in transparency, image density and hue and to enhance the durability and preservability thereof by successively laminating a hot-melt layer containing a hot-melt substance and an ink receiving layer containing pigment and a binder on a base material. CONSTITUTION: In a medium to be recorded suitable for recording using aq. ink, especially, in a medium to be recorded suitable for an overhead projector and obtaining printed matter good in transparency, a hot-melt layer 2 containing a hot-melt substance and an ink receiving layer containing pigment and a binder are successively laminated on a base plate 1. As pigment, alumina hydrate excellent in the fixing of paint in ink is pref. added. Ink droplets generated by allowing heat energy to act on ink are emitted to the medium to be recorded from fine orifices to perform printing and the medium to be recorded is heated to form an image. |
