PURPOSE: To enable molding work without the need for large driving power at the time of molding large-sized ceramics and to obtain ceramics having high molding accuracy by compounding a high-performance water-reducing agent with ceramic raw material powder consisting of waste fused glass at the time of forming a body by using this powder. CONSTITUTION: The waste fused glass is formed by subjecting waste, such as city refuse, sewer sludge and flying ashes, to a melting treatment, then to cooling and solidifying. Next, this waste fused glass is pulverized to a suitable grain size and is molded to the ceramic raw material powder. Next, the ceramic raw material powder, molding material, the high-performance water-reducing agent and water are mixed and the mixture is kneaded to form the body. The body is molded to a product shape by mechanical molding means having elements, such as vibration and vacuum, under a system of either a half-dry system in which the moisture content in the body is 4 to 8% or a half wet system in which the moisture content in the body is 9 to 16%. |
