PURPOSE: To prevent the migration (translation) during the elapse of time after densitizing printing of a desensitizer prepared from a specific compd. having a plurality of polyalkylene glycol terminal hydroxy groups one or more of which is converted to an unsaturated carboxylic ester group and used in a carbonless pressure-sensitive recording material. CONSTITUTION: A densensitizer used in order to prevent the color forming reaction of the recording undesired region of a carbonless pressure-sensitive recording material is a compd. obtained by the polyaddition reaction of one or more kind of alkylene oxide represented by formula II with org. polyamine having two or more groups selected from primary and secondary amino groups at its terminal represented by formula I. This compd. is a polymerizable compd. wherein one or more of a plurality of polyalkylene glycol terminal hydroxyl groups is converted to an unsaturated carboxylic ester group and produced by a novel method. In the formulae I, II, R<1> is an aliphatic hydrocarbon chain which may contain a tertiary amino group therein, R<2> is hydrogen or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group and R<3> is hydrogen or a lower alkyl group. |
