<p>PURPOSE: To provide a boom vibration removing device for a crane which suppresses vibration generated in a boom at its turning time or at its derricking, etc., of the boom. CONSTITUTION: Vibration meters 50A, 50B of detecting boom vibration in two directions are set in an upper end of a telescopic boom 3 of a crane, to detect a vibration of the telescopic boom 3 by these vibration meters 50A, 50B. This detected vibration is output to a control device 100 as an electric signal. In the control device 100, based on this electric signal, voltage is applied to piezoelectric actuators 52A, B, C, D set in the lower end periphery of the telescopic boom 3, and a strain is generated so as to suppress strain the boom 3 generated by vibration, to suppress vibrating the boom 3.</p> |
