PURPOSE: To provide a shaft excavating device and an adit excavating device to excavate the adit continuously after the shaft is dug out up to specified depth, to from a cutter for the shaft in an arm shape and draw a rectangular locus by the front end of the cutter for the shaft and remove a wasteful excavat ing section by forming the excavating cross section of the shaft in a rectangular shape when the shaft is dug out at a place in limited width such as a road and to apply a shield excavator even to a road in narrow width. CONSTITUTION: When a motor 15 for driving a shaft body and a motor 18 for driving a cylindrical body are driven, the front ends of arm-shaped cutter 14 for a shaft draw rectangular sectional loci, a shield body 3 for the shaft is propelled up to specified depth, and a motor 77 for driving the shaft body and a motor 80 for driving the cylindrical body are driven. Segments are assembled by an erector device 85, a propelling jack 86 is driven, a shield body 86 for an adit is propelled in the horizontal direction, and the rectangular sectional adit 4 is excavated. |
