PURPOSE: To suppress the change of printing density due to the aggregate or precipitation of a colorant in an ink jet printer which uses ink of insoluble or hard soluble colorant in water such as dispersion dye. CONSTITUTION: A protrusion 1030T is formed at the part for lowering the upper route 1030H is formed at the part (between points A and B) having a large difference (height difference) of the position in a vertical direction in an ink supply route. Thus, the movement of ink (colorant) to a lower route 1030L generated due to the difference of specific gravity generated due to the aggregate of the colorant at the route 1030H can be suppressed, thereby preventing the increase in the ink density difference. |
