PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a color image formed by the accumulation of an overlapping coloring agent generated by selecting device dependent color swath of information as a function of the order determined in a determining step, and printing the image in the selected device dependent color swath of information or the like. SOLUTION: A color image received from a document creator is printed in both scanning directions by a bidirectional printer of a printing system 50. The image defined by the colorimetric method languages defined by, as typical examples, digital languages R, G and B created by the document creator, and the printer 58 is provided with the output defined as existing in a color swath of information called as a CMYK. A first lookup table 52 and a second lookup table 54 are generated for the purpose. Respective lookup tables are generated by the printing system 50, and the problems of color stripe patterns in both directions of the color image are reduced or eliminated in the printing by the printer. |
