PURPOSE: To obtain a writing implement without requiring attachment and detachment of a cap by a method wherein the writing implement in with a pen point is sealed and projected by opening and closing a cap part by lenghtwise motion of a button, a coupling means of the cap body and a slider is constituted by combination of a pin and a long window, and the long window is formed into a straight part and a cam window. CONSTITUTION: When a capless type writing implement is not used, a cap body 2 hermetically seals an opening part of a slider 3 to prevent evaporation of ink and drying of a pen point 9. In the case of writing, when a button 4 is operated for retreat, the slider 3 retreats, a coupling part is linked therewith, the cap body 2 pivots, and the opening part is opened. The slider is futher retreated, the pen point 9 is deterred under a state wherein it is projected from the opening part, and comes to be of a writing state. In that case, a sliding pin 13 and a guide groove part 14 of the slider 3 are also transferred backward along a long window 12 of the cap body 2, and the cap body 2 is opened to almost 90 deg. by operation of an L window 15 forming a cam. Thereafter, a pin 11 completes turning round, and is transferred along an axial direction straight part. Thereby, the pen point 9 is projected from a front end of the opening, and comes to be writable. |
