PURPOSE: To provide a liquid type writing implement which facilitates easy reading of an ink remaining quantity by raising visibility of the ink remaining quantity in a writing implement wherein ink is stored directly in an ink tank. CONSTITUTION: In a liquid type writing implement A wherein ink is stored directly in an ink tank 11 provided in a shaft cylinder 10, and a display window 21 is provided by using a transparent material to a part of a peripheral surface of the shaft cylinder 10 to make an inside of the ink tank 11 visible, a projection part 24 is provided in opposition to an inner peripheral surface of the display window 21, and a first gap part 25 of a specific gap generating capillary force is provided between the display window 21 and the projection part 24. Besides, a second gap part 26 which is continuously connected to the first gap part 25 and narrower than the first gap part 25, is provided. |
