<p>PURPOSE: To provide an image forming device capable of keeping accuracy of a focus position constant regardless of using period of the device. CONSTITUTION: In an image forming device comprising an LED array 23, an optical system 25 such as a rod lens array for forming an image out of a jetted light from the LED array 23, a photosensitive body 1 on which the jetted light is formed into the image, distance detection sections 34 and 37 for detecting a distance between the LED array 23 and the photosensitive body 1 are formed in an area S2 outside a printing area of the LED array 23 on a face 33A of the LED array having a shape different from the face of the LED array in a printing area S1 of the LED array 23.</p> |
